Incumbent Charlie Philips has won his bid for re-election to the McKinney City Council, and newcomer Dr. Gere' Feltus has won the District 3 seat.
Feltus received 2,888 votes, or 51.8%, to her opponent, Vicente Torres, who has received 48.2%.
Feltus works as a physician, has experience serving on the McKinney Economic Development Corp.’s board of directors and is a graduate of Leadership McKinney. Torres is an administrator for the computer science department at The University of Texas at Dallas and has experience serving on the university’s staff council.
