McKinney ISD providing student lunches at select schools March 16-20

McKinney ISD announced March 12 that it would be extending spring break by one week in response to the novel coronavirus outbreak.

Due to the extension of spring break, MISD students will be attending school on two of its bad-weather days, previously scheduled for April 10 and April 27.

While schools are closed, the district will be providing grab-and-go meals for any student March 16-20.

Breakfast will be available from 7:30-8:30 a.m., and lunch will be available from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Meals will be handed out in the parking lots of the following campuses:

• Webb Elementary School, 810 E. Louisiana St., McKinney;
• Finch Elementary School, 1205 S. Tennessee St., McKinney;
