A new Shipley Do-Nuts store is set to open in McKinney later this year, a representative of the company confirmed.

The Houston-based restaurant offers kolaches, a variety of doughnuts and breakfast beverages like coffee and orange juice. The new store, which will be located in The Landing at McKinney development, will be operated by franchise group Custer SD, Inc. There are two other existing Shipley Do-Nut locations in McKinney, according to the company’s website.

Building renovations for the new doughnut shop will start in August, according to a filing from the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. Construction work to finish out the 1,600-square-foot space is expected to cost $150,000, per the filing.
