Avalanche Dessert Lounge expects to open in late September at 3530 W. University Drive, Ste. 301, McKinney. The dessert lounge will offer funnel cakes loaded with toppings, milkshakes with cake slices or a cookie on top, tableside s’mores and ice cream buns—which is an ice cream sandwich made with doughnuts.
