1. AC Hotel McKinney set to debut 137-room hotel, 5th-floor upscale eatery
A new hotel and restaurant are expected to make their debut on McKinney’s southern border later this year. AC Hotel McKinney, along with Good & Proper Wood Fired Bistro are slated for a mid-October opening, general manager Craig Barnett said. Construction began on the hotel in March 2024 and has since taken the project vertical to its planned five-story height. The building will span nearly 71,500 square feet.
