LifePath Systems broke ground on its new facility in north McKinney on June 27, according to a news release.
Construction on the 110,000-square-foot campus at the southeast corner of Bloomdale Road and Community Avenue is expected to begin later this year. The organization’s leaders anticipate the new McKinney campus will be complete by fall 2024, according to the release.
LifePath Systems is a nonprofit organization aiding the intellectually disabled, those who are mentally ill and children who are developmentally delayed in Collin County. The organization also serves as the county’s designated behavioral health and intellectual and developmental disabilities authority, according to its website.
The facility will offer public meeting rooms as well as offices for administration, as well as an expanded crisis center and intensive behavioral health services, according to the release. The facility will also have space available for expanding programs in the future.
