Walls of Clay, a downtown McKinney creative space, is celebrating their 25th anniversary in April, business co-owner Jenn Meyer said.
The business was established in 2001. In 2011, Meyer, a McKinney resident, purchased the business.
What they offer
Walls of Clay is a paint-your-own pottery studio and creative space where guests can walk in or reserve a table. A variety of experiences are offered at the downtown business, including:
- Paint pottery
- Fuse glass
- Glaze stoneware
- Pour candles
No experience is needed and all supplies and instruction are included.
In addition to their open studio experience, birthday parties and private events are also available. A rotating calendar of workshops introduces new techniques.
“We’re proud to be celebrating 25 years of helping families, friends and visitors create lasting memories together,” Jenn Meyer said in an email.
What’s happening?
To celebrate the quarter century mark, Walls of Clay will hold a birthday bash Apr. 24-26. The celebratory weekend will include a ticketed event Friday night featuring swag, sweets and giveaways.
