To honor the anniversary, the restaurant will be hosting a fundraiser. Through Owner Rick Wells' The Seed Project Foundation, he and other civic leaders hope to donate $100,000 to a variety of charities, including the Samaritan Inn, Community Garden Kitchen and Cornerstone Ranch.
The event, which begins tonight at 6 p.m., has sold out with 400 attendees and 22 local charities named as beneficiaries, according to a press release from the chophouse.
The restaurant, located at 107 N. Kentucky St., McKinney, serves oysters, salads, sea bass, pork chop, scallops, ribs and more.
