1. Simpson Manufacturing expansion
California-based manufacturing company Simpson Manufacturing is scheduled to build a 278,000-square-foot expansion at its McKinney plant near the McKinney airport, according to TDLR documents. The expansion will add space to the existing manufacturing and warehouse buildings, and include a remodel for the building’s office and training space. The company produces construction equipment and parts, including anchors and fasteners, their website states.

2. Krypton Solutions office and research facility
TDLR documents show Krypton Solutions, a manufacturing services provider, will start construction on a new office and research building in Plano in August. The company offers design services and builds parts and electrical components for manufacturing, according to Krypton’s website.

3. Preston Plaza
A new retail building is scheduled to start construction in Celina, TDLR documents state. The new building will span roughly 19,000-square-feet and start construction in early August.

4. Brake Masters
Auto repair shop Brake Masters will build a new Frisco location, TDLR documents state. The company operates one other Texas location in El Paso, the company website states. The business offers automotive repair and maintenance services including oil changes, brake repairs and engine repairs.

5. Pet Supplies Plus
Grapevine will receive a new Pet Supplies Plus location on West Park Boulevard, according to TDLR documents. An existing interior space will undergo renovations to accommodate the pet supply store, with construction slated for mid-June.
