A new 150,000-square foot manufacturing facility is slated to be built for Dynacraft in northeast McKinney, a company news release states.
Dynacraft officials broke ground on the facility April 30. The manufacturing facility is expected to open by summer 2027.
The gist
Dynacraft is a manufacturer and supplier of components and assemblies. The company is a division of Paccar, a global brand that offers design, manufacturing and customer support services for light-, medium- and heavy-duty trucks under the brands DAF, Kenworth and Peterbilt.
The new facility will add to Dynacraft’s existing McKinney presence and is expected to create over 200 new jobs, the release states. The facility will house new production lines for fabrication and assembly of truck components, which will directly support increased demand for Kenworth and Peterbilt trucks, according to the release. Battery electric vehicle components for DAF, Kenworth and Peterbilt will also be assembled at the facility.
“The new facility will provide Dynacraft the space to expand capacity and develop new manufacturing capabilities, ensuring a continued supply of high quality truck parts and assemblies for Paccar’s premium vehicles,” Dynacraft General Manager Nick Harker said in the release.

The McKinney site was selected for the new facility as a “strategic location,” the release states, offering access to a skilled workforce.
“We are proud that Dynacraft continues to choose McKinney as a place to expand and innovate,” McKinney Mayor Bill Cox said in the release. “This investment supports world-class manufacturing and highlights the strength of our business community.”
