7. Yogurtland

According to a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, the 1,472-square-foot renovation project has an estimated construction cost of $500,000. The project is slated to begin construction in April and scheduled for completion in July.

9. Cadence Bank
Huntington Bancshares announced it closed its merger with Cadence Bank on Feb. 2. Cadence Bank has 390 locations throughout the southern U.S., including one in McKinney that is expected to remain open.

The McKinney Economic Development Corp. announced Jan. 8 that Edenlux is expanding its U.S. presence to McKinney through MEDC’s Innovation Fund. Edenlux is a digital health care company that specializes in artificial intelligence-powered vision wellness solutions.
11. McKinney Economic Development Corporation
The Innovation Exchange program, which is the “next evolution” of the organization’s Innovation Fund, will aim to accelerate startup growth and attract capital, a Feb. 11 news release states. A 6,000-square-foot office space next to the MEDC offices will house the program.
