BasePoint, a Texas-based behavioral health organization that specializes in teen and young adult mental as well as dual-diagnosis treatment, is set to open a location in McKinney.
BasePoint BreakThrough offers mental health care services for individuals ages 18-35, a news release states. The McKinney location is the fourth BreakThrough location and expands the organization’s partial hospitalization program and intensive outpatient program. BasePoint officials plan to expand to 10 locations by the end of 2028, a representative said.
BasePoint BreakThrough provides evidence-based treatment for mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, ADHD and more, paired with guidance on practical skill-building for confidence, emotional regulation, executive functioning and more, the release states. The McKinney facility is now accepting referrals, per the release.
"With our BreakThrough program, we have expanded the support systems young people need to navigate this life transition successfully much like what our Academy program has done for adolescents," BasePoint BreakThrough McKinney Executive Director Hope Windsor said in the release. "We are equipped to serve this community better than anyone because we recognize emerging adulthood as a distinct developmental phase that meets young adults where they are."
