California-based United Pacific Industries is set move into a new operations facility in McKinney later this year, according to a news release.
United Pacific Industries is an international manufacturer of automotive parts and products for both commercial trucks and classic cars, according to the release. The company will occupy a nearly 280,000-square-foot facility in north McKinney at 3827 N. McDonald St., in the Core5 Logistics Center.
“We scoured North Texas searching for a strong location for [United Pacific Industries], and this turned out to be the best location just off [of] U.S. Highway 75,” said Dan Spika of Henry S. Miller Cos., the commercial real estate firm that represented United Pacific Industries in the acquisition of the facility.
The space will serve as an additional operations base to meet the growing warehouse and freight needs of the company, according to the release. United Pacific Industries supplies parts to a variety of automotive manufacturers, including Freightliner, Kenworth, Peterbilt and Volvo, according to the release.
