The Cypress location of Vero Italian Kitchen has been closed, according to a note posted to the restaurant's Facebook page on Oct. 16. The note was also posted at the eatery's location at 13621 Skinner Road, Cypress.

"Effective immediately, this location of Vero Italian Kitchen has been closed permanently," according to the note, which was attributed to the Vero family. "Most of you who know me ... know that I loved this place and this community so much. Unfortunately, there comes in a time in small businesses where that alone does not cut it."

Two other Vero locations—one on Kuykendahl Road in Spring and one on West Davis Street in Conroe—will remain open. The restaurant specializes in quick-serve Italian food made from scratch. www.veroitaliankitchen.com
