Construction on the 61,000-square-foot McKinney High School performing arts center, located at 1400 Wilson Creek Parkway, McKinney, is expected to be complete in mid-to-late October. The 1,000-seat center will be used daily by the theater, band, orchestra and choir departments. First performances will be held in December, according to McKinney ISD officials. www.mckinneyisd.net
