The Delicatessen Co. closes in Pflugerville

Less than four months after opening at 200 E. Pecan St., Ste. 1, Pflugerville, The Delicatessen Co. has removed signage from its building. Doors were locked during normal business hours Aug. 16, and repeated phone calls to the restaurant Aug. 15 and 16 went unanswered.

The eatery offered New York-style bagels, house-made cream cheese spreads, gourmet soups and craft sandwiches. 512-761-3355.

  1. As a point of Clarification, the delicatessen company is partnering and will be re-opened with a new concept The Loaded Biscuit. Opening date will be later this month and we invite the neighborhood to visit us!

    • It’s too bad that the women who are opening the loaded biscuit are a bunch of heartless thieves, looking to damage other businesses

  2. I hope the new concept opens earlier in the morning. My wife and I showed up at 8:30 on a Saturday morning and they were closed. Not what I expected from a place with bagels.

  3. I don’t think I’ve ever seen this place open. Plain signage and little foot traffic makes it seem like this place never got off the ground. That whole shopping center is a relic of old Pflugerville. Not saying tear it down but at least bring it into the 21st century.

  4. She had a GREAT business when she first opened in Pflugerville and kept changing what she would serve, first comfort food, then ice cream parlor, then back to food again (I can’t remember the name). Then she opens the Bagel Shop and it seemed that was doing great, now she closed it and reopening a biscuit place. She will have to 100% make her mind up before she succeeds in Pflugerville, this going back and forth is what’s hurting her.
