Austin Beerworks held a grand opening Feb. 5 for its new taproom at 3009 Industrial Terrace, Austin. The taproom, which replaces a smaller space the brewery opened in 2011, can hold up to 250 people and as an outdoor seating area.

Starting Feb. 27, the taproom will be open seven days a week.

Austin Beerworks will also operate an expanded production space with the capacity to brew about 40,000 barrels of beer annually, about double the brewery’s previous output.

In addition to beer, Austin Beerworks hosts a rotating array of food trucks and sells various brewery merchandise. Its previous space will be used for overflow seating and storage, said brewery co-owner Michael Graham. 512-821-2494. www.austinbeerworks.com
