Upgrades coming soon to Round Rock’s historic water tower

Erected in 1936, Round Rock’s historic water tower will undergo a series of improvements over the coming months. From structural repairs to a fresh coat of paint and new lighting features, the work is anticipated to begin in mid-July and conclude around the beginning of November.

A shroud, or thick cloth, will surround the water tower from mid-August through the end of September while the structure is being sanded to remove rust.
