Wild Kitchen + Bar is opening early summer in the Bee Cave location formerly known as Hill Country Golf & Guitar.

The restaurant will offer savory New-American-style dishes and approachable wild-game specials, according to a release. It will serve locally-sourced food and have a full craft bar and hand-crafted cocktail menu highlighting beer, wine, and spirits from around Texas.

The restaurant will keep the miniature golf course and amphitheater and plans to add a natural playscape.

Co-owner Colby Crelia is an artist, musician, and designer who said he plans to pair his experience in the restaurant business with his passion for curating inviting and captivating spaces when designing the environment and menu at Wild Kitchen + Bar, the release said.

“Wild will be the intersection of the modern and the natural,” Colby said in a statement. “We want to combine excellency in food, quality and taste in a modern atmosphere and cozy ambiance.”

Crelia said he and his co-owner and wife, Lindsey, see Wild Kitchen + Bar as a place that fosters a sense of community through family-friendly activities, great food, and live music.

“We want to be conscious of the noise level," Lindsey Crelia said in a statement. "We are carefully crafting a plan for live music and are working with a sound engineer to ensure a respectful, neighborhood-friendly experience for everyone.”

Wild Kitchen + Bar will be located at 15506 W. Hwy. 71 C, Bee Cave. 512-263-8099. www.wildkitchenandbar.com
