The Gibson-Grant Log House will open to the public Dec. 11, after a multiyear design and renovation process, according to a Flower Mound news release.
The Gibson-Grant Log House was constructed in 1860-61 and is one of a few log structures of the mid-nineteenth century still standing on its original site in Denton County, according to the release.
Flower Mound will host a ribbon cutting at 10 a.m. Dec. 11 at the house located at 3615 Grant Court.
Tours will be available on site until 2 p.m. The tours will provide guests with information about the structure, according to the release.
