Flower Mound’s economic development director is moving on from the town staff after accepting a job in a nearby city where she will once again work with Flower Mound’s former town manager.
The city of Bedford announced in a Nov. 20 news release that it had hired Andrea Roy to be its next director of development, working under former Flower Mound Town Manager Jimmy Stathatos.
“She has had tremendous success working with new economic development, as well as redevelopment,” the city of Bedford said in the statement, “and with her planning and development experience, she will be hitting the ground running in her new role at the City of Bedford.”
Stathatos left his role with the town of Flower Mound in September after accepting the city manager job with Bedford.
