The community grants division will host the second of two public hearings to gather public input on neighborhood needs, social service priorities and affordable housing issues in Lewisville, according to a news release from the city.
The public hearing will be held at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 7 at the Lewisville Grand Theater, located at 100 N. Charles St.
Lewisville will receive about $784,000 from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development this year. The funds will be used primarily to assist low- to moderate-income residents and areas, according to the release.
Lewisville City Council created the Community Development Block Grant advisory committee to set priorities and select programs to be funded with CDBG funding.
