The city of Lewisville is looking for artists to create a photography-based public art piece, according to a city news release.
The piece will be a visual representation of Lewisville and answer the question, “Who are we as a community?” The working project title is “We Are Lewisville,” according to the release.
The winning work should be displayed on a portable panel with multiple units, which will be displayed on a rotating basis in various indoor locations, according to the release.
Artists located in North Texas can apply as a single artist or a collaboration. The budget for the commission is up to $8,000, which includes all costs associated with the pockets, according to the release.
