Lewisville Police Chief Brook Rollins announced April 26 the department has hired Donald Fulbright as the assistant chief of police over the patrol bureau.
The details
Fulbright, who is a lieutenant for the Arlington Police Department, will replace Chris Clements, who retired earlier this year. He will start the new position June 5, according to a news release.
“Lieutenant Fulbright has a vast and diverse background in law enforcement that will be of great value to the Lewisville Police Department,” Rollins said in a news release. “His strategic, operational and relational expertise were qualities that stuck out during the interview process. But most noteworthy was his passion for caring for his employees as if they were his own family. As the police chief, it was important for me to find the right experience, expertise and personality to integrate with the members of LPD, the city and the community. Lieutenant Fulbright is the perfect fit.”
