Lewisville council approves rezoning request for future office warehouse development

A rezoning request approval could lead to the development of an office or warehouse space in Lewisville.

Lewisville City Council members approved the request 5-0 at their Nov. 20 meeting, following a similar unanimous passage by the planning and zoning commission on Oct. 17.

The details

The future development will be on a 5.237-acre piece of land located at 704 Holfords Prairie Road at the northwest corner of Bunker Hill Lane, according to city documents. It is south of the future Corporate Drive road extension.

The land was annexed into the city than 50 years ago.

The specifics

Property owner Mohsin R. Ravjani said in his application the plan is to develop a small office warehouse space for various trades.

According to city documents, the property had been used illegally for salvage of vehicles, but a code enforcement case has led to the removal of the vehicles.
