Students age 18 and younger as well as students with disabilities up to 21 years old who are enrolled in Lewisville ISD schools will be able to pick up free meals during the summer months, according to a district release.
More than 15 pickup locations were announced prior to the last day of school in LISD, and more will be added to the list throughout the summer, according to the release.
Schools serving as meal sites are Lakeland Elementary School, Lewisville Elementary School, Durham Elementary School, Central Elementary School, Lewisville High School, Camey Elementary School, Creekside Middle School, Lillie Jackson Early Childhood Center, Peters Colony Elementary School, Killough High School, Vickery Elementary School, Harmon High School, Mill Elementary School and Hedrick Middle School.
“Our children need nutritious meals to learn, grow and thrive—even when school is out,” the district said in the release.
