Sweet Retreat TX Ice Cream announced the Liberty Hill business will be closing Oct. 31.
The details
Sweet Retreat advised customers in an Oct. 16 social media post to redeem any gift cards before its closing date. The shop will remain open and serve customers until the end of the month.
In a statement to Community Impact, the business cited financial constraints as the reason behind the closure.
“Small, independent businesses cannot survive on good intentions alone,” the business said in the statement. “They require consistent, active foot traffic and patron support. Unfortunately, the day-to-day community support simply wasn’t enough to overcome operating costs, leaving us with substantial financial losses and no viable path forward.”
The business opened in 2025.
