Deer Creek residents will have the opportunity to provide feedback on Travis County’s plans to update substandard roads in their neighborhood this April, according to a news release.
Travis County will hold an open house to discuss the project April 13 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Travis County Parks West Facility at 14624 Hamilton Pool Road, Austin.
The details
The project includes several residential roads in the area that are not currently maintained by Travis County but have been identified as needing repairs. Proposed improvements involve reconstructing existing roadways and adding drainage enhancements.
As part of a countywide effort to improve substandard roads, once completed the roads are intended to meet the standards necessary to be accepted by the county for maintenance.
