Year-over-year home sales, median home prices mixed in Lake Travis, Westlake

October home sales and median home prices were mixed in the Lake Travis-Westlake market, according to data from the Austin Board of Realtors.

Of the seven ZIP codes in the market, three sold fewer homes this October compared to October 2022, while two sold more homes. Sales in the remaining two ZIP codes remained consistent year over year—in 78733 there were three homes sold last October and this October, and in 78738, there were 36 homes sold.

Median home prices were also mixed. Prices in four ZIP codes dropped, while prices in the other three ZIP codes increased.

Home prices in 78733 dropped the most in the market by 60.8%, while homes in 78735 had the biggest price increase in the market at nearly 44.5%.

Homes in all seven ZIP codes spent longer on the market this year compared to last year, with homes in 78746 lingering the longest, spending a little over one month on the market last year to over three months on the market this year.
