City Council announced Aug. 21 that the Nov. 5 elections of three alderman positions would be unopposed. Joe Basham, Amy Pattillo and Jay Jayakumar will take their positions as aldermen for the city after Nov. 5.
Basham currently serves on council and Pattillo and Jayakumar will replace outgoing aldermen John Hinton and Rob Hirschfeld, who was appointed to fill a vacated seat earlier this year.
