Lake Travis High School graduate joins the Wise Owls Training Squadron as student naval aviator

Ensign Tyler Welch, a 2005 Lake Travis High School graduate, was selected Aug. 10 to be a student naval aviator with the Wise Owls Training Squadron based in Corpus Christi. Welch will be responsible for training future naval aviators.
