The Lake Travis Event Center, formerly Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, is located at 411 S. RR 620 in Lakeway and provides a venue for hosting weddings, corporate events and more.
"We are really excited about how [the company] is growing, and I think we are a little surprised," LTEC Manager Leanne Dupay said. "We were very cognizant of overcoming the perception of being a [former] funeral home."
The event center has exceeded expectations by pricing itself as a great value and requiring very little decorating, Dupay said.
The LTEC handles a variety of events including graduations, weddings and engagement parties, and it has even been approached for fundraisers, and to host both physical therapy sessions and beauty pageants, Dupay said.
