The Lakeway Police Foundation is holding its inaugural Dinner with the Chief on June 23 from 6–9 p.m. as a fundraiser for a new K-9 unit.
Foundation Fundraising Director Lynn Lollar said the dinner will be a time for residents to ask questions about the addition of the unit to the police force.
The event will be held at Rocco's Grill, 900 S. RR 620, Ste. A106, Lakeway, and begins with hors d'oeuvres and dinner while Chief Todd Radford of the Lakeway Police Department addresses the crowd about the K-9 project.
Lollar said proceeds from the cocktails and entertainment-filled night go directly to funding the K-9 project. Tickets are $100 per person and include appetizers, two drink tickets, dinner and entertainment.
