A new bakery and the relocation of a longtime Tex-Mex restaurant are just some of the updates for the Lake Travis-Westlake area in February.

Cupprimo at the Lake
Cupprimo at the Lake opened in late January in Lakeway, marking the second location for bakery Cupprimo. Locally owned by Amy Closson, the shop's daily menu includes quiche, coffee and seven cupcake flavors available every day of the week: red velvet, blue velvet, tuxedo, strawberry, birthday cake, double chocolate and primo vanilla.
iCode School Bee Cave
A new location of iCode is now open in Bee Cave, offering instruction in coding, robotics and digital design for pre-K-12th grade students. The facility is locally owned by Bee Cave residents Jeffery and Tashfia Kabir.
SOHO Asian Fusion
The restaurant will serve a variety of Asian dishes such as Vietnamese spring rolls, Shanghai soup dumplings, Thai-style curry, Korean barbecue short ribs, Japanese chicken katsu, Taiwanese-style stir fry and other appetizers alongside rice, noodle and meat dishes.

Jasper Coffee
Located inside A Health and Wellness Shop, the coffee shop serves seasonal coffee drinks, non-coffee drinks and food options like egg bites, breakfast tacos and protein pumpkin bread.
Care Bears Play Area
The new indoor playground at Barton Creek Square is designed for toddlers through age 6, and offers opportunities to slide, balance, climb and more with Care Bear characters, according to a news release.
Ikea at Best Buy-South Austin
IKEA has partnered with a handful of Best Buy locations across Texas to offer plan and order points, including in Southwest Austin. The 1,000-foot IKEA showroom features model kitchens and laundry rooms.

Oria
The Mediterranean restaurant specializes in charcoal- and wood-fired cooking inspired by flavors from the Eastern Mediterranean and Southern Europe.
Juiced Fuel Austin
The company brings fuel to the dock, driveway or job site to eliminate trips to the fuel pump or having to transport containers of gasoline. Customers can set appointments to have their vehicles or boats fueled at their convenience through the company's website or app.

La Cabana Bar & Grill
The restaurant serves a variety of Tex-Mex staples, from tamales, tacos, fajitas, nachos and enchiladas to burgers, fish, desserts and more. The restaurant also offers a bar with beer, wine and margaritas, according to its website.
Peoples Wellness
Peoples Rx, Austin’s Wellness Headquarters reopened in a new Westlake location this winter. Now called Peoples Wellness, the location off Bee Cave Road offers personalized wellness consultations, medication compounding, a full-service pharmacy, wellness products and more. The business was previously located at 4201 Westbank Drive, Austin.

Though initially announced to close Feb. 14, the Texas Disposal Systems’ Bee Cave Transfer Site will remain open following action taken by Travis County commissioners Feb. 10 to extend the site’s contract.
