The Mackenzie Club is slated to open next year for prospective members interested in a private golf club experience featuring simulator, performance and recovery suites, and other amenities such as a dining room, outdoor patios and workspaces.
The backstory
The club was founded by Dave Rogenmoser and is named after Dr. Alister MacKenzie, a golf course architect.
"We’re building Mackenzie as Austin’s second golf home: a private social club for golfers, with serious golf at the center and the rest of club life built around it," Rogenmoser said. "Members can practice, have lunch with a client, recover after a workout or bring the family for dinner, all in one clubhouse."
Initially slated for a late 2026 opening, the club is now targeting a spring 2027 opening, Rogenmoser said.
