Site development, which began in November 2020 just south of Highway 71, continues at the 80-acre Village at Spanish Oaks mixed-use development.
Permanent features of the site, such as water-quality retention ponds, are starting to take shape along with the installation of underground wastewater utility lines.
The Village at Spanish Oaks, a development of both CCNG Inc. and Greenbrier Southwest Corporation, will have office, retail, and dining as well as a hotel and spa, which is described as a boutique inn, according to a development fact sheet.
Adjacent to the inn, developers plan to build a range of attached and free-standing residential homes and townhouses that will have access to amenities provided by the inn, such as room service and housekeeping. Also proposed for construction in other areas of the site are three-story “brownstone” units, condominiums, retail and corporate office space, according to information provided to the Bee Cave City Council.
