Officials from the Houston Public Works Department are aiming to complete road improvements to Kingwood Drive in Kingwood by June 6, according to a May 29 news release from Houston District E Councilman Fred Flickinger’s office.
The details
According to the news release, the roughly $28,000 project will include repairs to the curbs and the replacement of pavement markings at the intersection of Kingwood and Woodland Hills drives. Work on the project began May 29.
The project is being funded using District E service funds, which are allocated annually to each district to pay for services that aren’t already provided by the city of Houston, officials said in the news release.
