Construction is ongoing on the expansion and extension of Lockwood and Woodland Hills drives. The road will be expanded from two to four lanes between North Lake Houston Parkway and Eagle Ridge Elementary School, where the road ends. At Eagle Ridge Elementary School a new four-lane boulevard will be constructed to Rankin Road.

2. Grand Parkway Segment G
The Texas Department of Transportaton completed Segment G of the Grand Parkway in late March. The new segment connects I-45 to Hwy. 59. Segments F-1 and F-2 of the road connect Hwy. 290 in Cypress to I-45 south of The Woodlands. Also known as the Greater Houston area’s third loop, the Grand Parkway is a toll road that spans nearly 200 miles.
