The Good Shepherd Episcopal Church is holding a pumpkin patch and is recruiting volunteers to help set up the patch. Volunteering efforts began Oct. 5, and the pumpkin patch will be held through the end of October.
Best Automotive presents the Annual Fall Car Show, which will showcase over 100 vehicles and provide opportunities to purchase auto-themed crafts and merchandise. There will be judged competitions where experts award prizes in multiple categories.

The seventh annual Kingwood OktoberFest will return to Holy Comforter Lutheran Church, featuring German-inspired fare, such as bratwurst, sauerkraut and pretzels, as well as brews from DECA Beer Company. The event will also feature polka music from The Texas Sound Check Band, a DJ, a costume contest, a trackless train, and games and activities for all ages.
Partnership Lake Houston is holding its annual Party Lake Houston event with a college game day theme featuring games, live entertainment, food and networking opportunities for local businesses and community members. Admission includes five tailgate appetizer stations, one drink, access to racing simulators and entry into a cornhole tournament.
Bloom Community Services is holding a “Hocus Pocus” themed gala to support its mission to aid individuals with disabilities. The gala will feature a costume contest, dancing, a meal, a bar and silent auction.

The Good Shepherd Episcopal Church and Kingwood Church of Christ are holding a joint Trunk or Treat Halloween event spanning two large parking lots, decorated trunks, games, a cake walk and free candy for children.
