Humble ISD has announced upcoming graduation ceremonies at George Turner Stadium will be smaller than originally anticipated to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
The district announced in a July 13 news release that the outdoor graduation capacity will be limited to 25% versus the 50% originally thought due to a regional rise in coronavirus cases. Graduates from the district's six high schools will have a limited number of tickets they can obtain based on graduating class size.
According to a graduation procedures video put together by the district, graduates as well as family and friends in attendance will be required to wear masks and practice social distancing measures per state guidelines.
