Although Three B’s Grill looks like a sports bar to the naked eye—it features high seats, several TVs and a prominent bar area—the Kingwood restaurant offers a family atmosphere, co-owner Craig Brown said.
Three B’s Grill, which is located on Kingwood Drive near West Lake Houston Parkway, is an American-style grill created by two longtime Kingwood residents. The restaurant was named after co-owner Robert Jones’ three sons: Ben, Brady and Brett.
“People think we’re a sports bar, and we’re not,” Brown said. “Some people in Kingwood have [the impression] that we are a sports bar, but if you ask anybody in the street and they’ll say it’s just a family grill. It has become a melting pot for [people] in Kingwood. That’s what we wanted; we’re both Kingwood guys.”
The menu is anchored by its chicken wings, burgers, steaks and chicken-fried steak tacos, a customer favorite that includes queso, gravy and taco fixings. It also features dishes new to Three B’s, such as mahi mahi, pasta and pork chops, which has become a signature dish, Brown said.
