The Humble eatery formerly known as Landry's Creole & Cajun Seafood changed its name to LanDreaux's Creole & Cajun Seafood, owner Andrew Landry confirmed in a May 13 post on the business’s Facebook page.
The details
Landry said the name change is coming after copyright issues were raised over the restaurant’s previous name.
“Recently, we were contacted by a large corporate restaurant group regarding the use of our name,” Landry said in the post. “The name ‘Landry’s’ was never chosen to mislead anyone or ride the success of another company. It is my actual family name.”
