Officials with Kings Harbor in Kingwood announced the selection of Thomas Nguyen to serve as executive chef of the upcoming Table 7 Prime Steakhouse, according to a June 19 news release.

Construction on Table 7 Prime Steakhouse began in April, according to a Feb. 11 filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. The roughly $1 million project consists of the renovation of a 3,600-square-foot existing space in Kings Harbor.
Career history
Per the release, Nguyen is bringing more than 20 years of experience to his new role after previously opening multiple restaurants and serving as executive chef for several hospitality groups and culinary concepts.
“After more than two decades in this industry, I still approach every day as a student of the craft,” Nguyen said in the news release. “There is always something new to learn, another challenge to overcome, and another opportunity to improve.”
As executive chef of Table 7 Prime Steakhouse, Nguyen said he is focused on delivering an elevated dining experience to the Kingwood community. Per the release, his vision centers on serving premium steaks, utilizing quality ingredients and providing genuine hospitality that leaves a lasting impression on every guest.
“My philosophy is simple: respect the ingredients, execute with precision and never stop learning," Nguyen said.
