Business park in works at Generation Park near Summerwood

Construction began on a new business park within mixed-use development Generation Park in March. The business park will open by the second quarter of 2018, according to a spokesperson for McCord.

The park is located next to Generation Park’s anchor tenant, TechnipFMC, at 13300 Lockwood Road.

The 25-acre Lockwood Business Park will feature a variety of uses, such as engineering, manufacturing, distribution, warehousing, and research and development.

The move comes as development ramps up in Generation Park.

McCord Development—Generation Park’s developer—opens up the first office building within Generation Park in June. Tenants will include Apache Corp. and McCord Development, said McCord Development President Ryan McCord said.

Construction is also expected to begin on a Courtyard Marriott hotel, a 250-unit apartment complex and four restaurants in Generation Park before the end of the year.
