Market data: Homes for sale decrease year over year in Keller, Roanoke, north Fort Worth

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to create uncertainty for many, the number of homes for sale decreased from August 2019 to August 2020 in the Keller, Roanoke, North Fort Worth area.

The largest decrease in new listings occurred in ZIP code 76244 from 282 listings in August 2019 to 221 listings in August 2020, according to data from the Greater Fort Worth Association of Realtors.

Three out of four area ZIP codes saw a double-digit decrease in home listings year over year, including ZIP code 76262, which fell from 157 listings in 2019 to 133 listings in 2020. During that same time period, the number of new listings decreased from 114 to 89 in ZIP code 76248 and from 74 listings to 73 listings in ZIP code 76177.

Additionally, the number of homes under contract also decreased year over year in three out of four area ZIP codes. The largest decrease occurred in ZIP code 76244, which dropped from 129 homes under contract in 2019 to 83 homes under contract in 2020.

Homes under contract also decreased in ZIP code 76262 from 72 in 2019 to 43 in 2020. The next largest decrease in homes under contract occurred in ZIP code 76248, which saw a year-over-year change from 65 to 45 homes under contract.

Conversely, ZIP code 76177 had the only year-over-year increase in homes under contract with 46 in August compared to 27 during the same time last year.
