The COVID-19 pandemic has forced people all over the world to make compromises to keep themselves and everyone else safe. Holiday celebrations this year might feature more face masks and sanitizer stations than ever before, but Keller, Roanoke and Northeast Fort Worth will still be lit up this season. This list of events is not comprehensive.
Nov. 26-30: The Fort Worth YMCA Turkey Trot will be a virtual event this year. Participants can register online through midnight Nov. 25 and run any day through the end of the month. Participants are encouraged to use an app, such as RaceJoy, to track their run, but this is not required. Dec. 5: Roanoke will celebrate the Hometown Holiday festival with a tree lighting, a parade, a gingerbread house-building contest and more. Dec. 8-11: Keller Public Library will offer a gift-wrapping station for those who would like help or who need a place to wrap a secret present.
