Page, Moyers, Brundage elected to Roanoke City Council

Challenger Hogan Page has ousted incumbent Angela Diane Grimm for the Roanoke City Council Ward 1 seat, according to unofficial results from Denton County.

Page, a loan officers and treasurer for the Northwest Metroport Chamber of Commerce, received 53% of the votes while Grimm, who has served on the council since 2015, received 47% of the votes.

Bryan Moyers defeated opponent Michael J. Callaway in the Roanoke City Council Ward 2 race, according to unofficial results from Denton County. Moyers, a firearms dealer who serves on his neighborhood homeowners association board of directors, received 77.5% of the votes. Callaway, who has 20 years of experience in the financial industry, received 22.5% of the votes.

For Roanoke City Council Ward 3, David Brundage won the race with over 55% of the votes over opponents Paul Laymon and Michelle Davidson.

Laymon is a musician. Davidson works as a project manager. Brundage is a certified financial planner.
