Northwest ISD to host 5 community meetings for upcoming VATRE election

Northwest ISD officials will host a series of five in-person presentation meetings for information about the upcoming Voter Approval Tax Rate Election on Nov. 5.

According to a district news release, all meetings will take place at 6 p.m. Dates and locations include:

• Sept. 24: Daniel Elementary School Library - 1901 Tye St., Northlake
• Sept. 30: Northwest High School Cafeteria - 2301 Texan Drive, Justin
• Oct. 1: Eaton High School PAC - 1350 Eagle Blvd., Haslet
• Oct. 2: Byron Nelson High School Cafeteria - 2775 Bobcat Blvd. Trophy Club
• Oct. 9: Chisholm Trail Middle School Cafeteria - 583 F.M. 3433, Rhome

The news release states the meetings are expected to last about 30 to 45 minutes and will include a presentation and Q&A session. For those unable to attend one of the in-person meetings, a PDF copy of the presentation is available online.
