Tutoring sessions started at Gideon Math and Reading Center off Golden Triangle Boulevard in Forth Worth at the beginning of August.

The supplemental education center offers 20-30 minute lessons where students can receive daily and disciplined practice through the center’s step-by-step curriculum booklets at the student’s pace, co-owner Rajini Ramakrishnan said. One month of sessions costs $190 for one subject and $320 for two.
Gideon Math and Reading Center will host an opening event Aug. 2 from 10 a.m-1 p.m.where it will offer free student evaluations and tours of the center.
