Keller ISD announces Fossil Hill Middle School will remain closed until spring break

A re-roofing project over Thanksgiving break at Fossil Hill Middle School caused damage to the interior of the building.

Keller ISD officials said those repairs must take place while the building is unoccupied, and the work is expected to last through spring break.

What you need to know

While classes were initially suspended through Dec. 4, they will resume Dec. 11 at the former Chisholm Trail Intermediate School campus, located at 3901 Summerfields Blvd. in Fort Worth.

“Teachers and staff have spent the last several days preparing instructional spaces at the temporary campus, and communication has been shared with families regarding the move and what to expect, including an FAQ page on the FHMS website,” Chief Communications Officer Bryce Nieman said.
